Strikes, spares, and especially splits get a whole new meaning as a satellite adult TV channel gets into the gutter -- literally -- with an "erotic 10-pin bowling" special airing this month, according to Shukan Taishu (5/26).

According to the men's weekly, "Bijo Daishugo! Zenra Bouringu Taikai (Great Gathering of Beauties -- The All-Nude Bowling Contest)" is the linchpin of Paradise TV's spring festival, which airs until May 31.

The program features a bevy of babes bowling in teams to see which one can down the most pins. Each show features eight women split into four pairs, and the basic rules are the same as they are in a normal frame of bowling. But then the typical Paradise TV touch comes into play.

All players start the game fully clothed. But as soon as a player rolls a gutter ball, she's obliged to strip.

But Shukan Taishu notes that just in case the woman is handy with her balls, there are also handicaps in play, like displaying her handiwork or kissing a male cast member (an obese 40-something in huge white underpants and wearing a golden Afro wig, judging by photos in the magazine) as she hurls another missile down the lane. These distractions make gutters an almost certainty.

Shukan Taishu notes that competition is fierce, even if the erotic nature of the program makes it especially friendly, with the team finishing last forced to perform in an erotic game as punishment. (By Ryann Connell)
