A tendency to teach cute schoolgirl learner drivers how to reverse by practicing in love hotel car parks lent an air of inevitability to the arrest of Yokohama driving school instructor Kihachiro Kamei, according to Shukan Post (2/1).

Sex-crazed sexagenarian Kamei, the boss of the Otsuka Driving School, was busted for allegedly forcing a schoolgirl learner driver to drive to a love hotel, where he forced her inside and had his way with her.

"He apparently told her they were going to practice reversing and directed her to a love hotel car park. Once she stopped the car, he became aggressive and forced her to go inside with him," a police officer investigating the case tells Shukan Post. "He's been arrested for molesting a schoolgirl before, back in 2004, when he was in charge of a different driving school."

The men's weekly notes that the more it probes into the 62-year-old suspect's past, the less there is to find to like about him. A schoolboy he was once assigned to teach how to drive elaborates.

"He'd sit in the passenger seat smoking cigarettes and chewing on donuts. Sometimes, he'd get two students to take turns driving during a 1-hour class, so you'd barely get any practice," the schoolboy says. "He'd sometimes scream at you if you made a mistake and he belted me over the head once."

Kamei was apparently willing to use his position as head of the driving school if he felt so inclined.

"He used to hate taking students out onto the driving course. That is, of course, unless there was a girl he liked who'd come to take a lesson," a former Kamei colleague tells Shukan Post. "At those times, he'd willingly give private lessons after 7 at night. When they finished, he'd take the student out for sushi, drinking and then invite her to a hotel. I personally know of at least 10 female students he's propositioned."

Kamei's carnal cravings appear to have transformed the cars he worked in to become prisoners for some of the students he chose. One such girl gives her story.

"He kept demanding that I go out for dinner with him and kept feeling me all over while we were in the car," a schoolgirl who once received driving instruction from Kamei says. "Some girls put up with it because they were desperate to get their license. But I couldn't bear it and quit his school."

A man who sent his schoolgirl daughter to Kamei's driving school is furious.

"She told me he started rubbing her thighs and stroking her hair during driving lessons before moving on to grope her breasts and trying to kiss her. She said he'd told her he'd teach her how to reverse and took her to a love hotel to do it, all the while demanding she accompany him inside," the furious father tells Shukan Post. "I pondered over pressing charges, but decided not to because of the stress it'd cause my daughter. He wouldn't enter any discussions about a refund, either." (By Ryann Connell)
